| it's amazing to make a Xanga post complaining about Xanga and then move blogs a bit more than a day later.
thanks a lot Jeff! (all of my old Xanga posts are imported too. crazy right? i just need to fix up the site so it looks pretty now)

| okay, so like 2-3 years ago, i sat down and transliterated the lyrics of "Again" (Shimokawa Mikuni) since i wanted to be able to sing along and i couldn't find the lyrics anywhere on the net (i still think you can't find them on the net - though i may be wrong). i posted them in a xanga post.
Jeff just gave me the whole Kino no Tabi soundtrack again (you rock man, you rock so hard ;__; <3), and i found out that "Again" is on the soundtrack and i still like the song.
the computer that those lyrics would be on is in Ohio.
i'm in Taiwan. with a laptop. completely different.
so i attempt to search for the blogpost. however, the search function on Xanga only goes up to 2 weeks of posts, and we're talking about years here. so i Google around for some alternate method, and i come up with a post somewhere comparing Blogger to Xanga. and i quote:

all i can say is... "goddammit, why didn't i take the chance to get off of Xanga when i could?" i have a LiveJournal, and i also have an unused Blogger account (well duh, comes with a Gmail address). however, i've been using this blog for at least 3 years now (i think it was started in 9th grade - though you can't see those posts now - hidden for the sake of no one being scarred by TeenagerN00b!Emily), and i really hate for all of the stuff i've posted about here to just disappear (i guess i'd save a copy... lol, 1000+ posts).
also, i get the feeling that some people would cease to keep connected with me if i moved off of Xanga - that might sound kind of selfish and self-absorbed, but Xanga is kind of one of the ways that i keep in contact with... a handful of people i give a shit about, especially in the California region.
sigh. i need a solution. i also need to get the marshmallow off of Xanga. @__@
busy day tomorrow, so this matter will have to be postponed for later thought. suggestions welcomed. i personally kind of like Blogger, and i have an unhealthy attraction to Wordpress and LJ. bah!
also, this soundtrack is great. :( Kino no Tabi is great. ;__; SOB I LOVE THIS SERIES. i still need to pick episodes to show for club - i doubt anyone would really appreciate them, but oh well. i'm thinking episodes 3 and 4, though i really want to show the Coliseum arc. :( sigh.
in other news, i really like Clannad (and yes Brian, the fadeouts annoy me and still do ;__; Tomoya makes up for it though. kinda. i'm even getting used to the crappy music.). :D okay, going to bed for realz now.

| Clannad first impressions
-the music isn't as good as Kanon, though it has a distinct Key feel. :(
-the designs aren't as horrendous though. lolsoulsucking eyes.
-i actually like Okazaki Tomoya. crazy. a well developed main male character that isn't stupid and spineless (i.e. Shirou from Fate/Stay Night). it sounds impossible but there you have it. he's kind of cool. like Kyon cool. :)
-Nagisa is actually kind of cute too. she came off a bit childishly annoying at first but it really grows on you. i like her family. however, regarding Nagisa's character design... her two antennae annoy me. they look ridiculous.
-wtf is with the plot? i mean... it's kind of surreal at the same time as being... not.
-wtf is with the ED? ... dango-tachi?
-i don't like the scene change white... fade-over thing. it annoys me because... i dunno. i guess i think it looks a little unprofessional.
-Tomoyo's music (her ... theme, i guess) is ridiculous. come to think of it, Tomoyo is ridiculous.
-the way this episode ended was also a bit ridiculous.
Conclusions:
-going to keep on watching. approved for future ACC watching.
-Kanon music ;__; sob. i miss the awesomeness of the main theme in lovely slow piano baaadd. this is probably because i played fanmade Kanon bm98 (fail i know) songs way too much, but the tempo! the cadence! gahhh. i guess it's too much to expect that Key would be able to repeat that here but sighhh.
-i can't get over the music. :( oh well. plot had better make up for it.
